Class Description
This is an in person, 16 hour, Illinois State Certified Class, for Illinois State Residents 21 years of age and older. The class is separated into two, mandatory 8 hour consecutive days, per Illinois State Law and will be held from 9am CST to 5pm CST on both days. Upon completion of this class and a passing shooting qualification score, you will receive an Illinois State Certified Concealed Carry Certification. Class Content: *Introduction to Firearm Use and Education *Developing a Home Protection Plan *Self Defense Firearm Basics *Defensive Shooting Fundamentals Pricing: All public group classes are free, however, the gun range requires a $50 entry fee which covers your firearm, ammunition, targets, protective eyeware and protective ear wear.
Class Schedule, Requirements & Policies
CLASS SCHEDULE: This is a 16 hour class held over two consecutive 8 hour days from 9am CST to 5pm CST. No early dismissal. CLASS REQUIREMENTS: All class participants must be an Illinois State Resident who is 21 years of age or older. A valid Illinois State ID will be required to register for this course and must be presented to your instructor upon arrival on Day 1. DRESS CODE POLICY: Day 1 will take place in an indoor class setting, casual attire is permitted. Day 2 will take place at the gun range, long sleeves are highly recommended and closed-toes shoes are required (no crocs permitted). Any individual wearing clothing that contains offensive material or improper foot ware as outlined above, will be asked to leave our facility and will need to reschedule for another day. No refunds will be provided. LATE POLICY: Classes start promptly at 9am CST. No entry will be permitted after 9:15am CST on both days. Late arrivals will need to reschedule for a different day and the cancellation/reschedule policy will be applied. PAYMENT/CANCELLATION POLICY: All classes require a non-refundable fee as outlined in your selected class. Participants may cancel or reschedule up until Day 1 of the course, but due to limited availability, refunds will not be issued, and a $25 rescheduling fee will be applied.
